There is a very sparse file on Gul Vorlem on DS15's data records, with a hastily added punctuation of "Removed from service due to emotional strain. Retired with Honors." without any sort of explanation.

He served briefly on Empok Lur, and was slated to be Prefect of Betazed during the Dominion occupation, before his career ended. There are so few details about his career that it seems probable his deeds were either covert, or redacted.

He lives on Cardassia in an undisclosed location, where he is living out his retirement.
